Nebraska Gamebird and Hunting Association
Goals
The Nebraska Gamebird and Hunting Association was established April 6, 1994
when a group of bird raisers and CSA owners decided to form an organization to
promote hunting in Nebraska.
There have been many issues/goals over the past few years that the NGHA has been
involved with and continue to be involved with such as:
- To promote hunting in Nebraska
- Stay informed regarding legislation pertaining to CSA’s/Bird Producers.
The CRP issue was a major issue for CSA’s. (1999)
- To give support to new or existing CSA’s or Bird Producers
- Your dues ensure that our organization can continue to remain
self-sufficient and are not used to pay for an Executive Director.
- Designing a web page for each member. This insures increased growth for
the organization as well as individual advancement.
- Holding annual meetings to discuss old/new business and concerns.
- The development of a newsletter from the NGHA.
- The investments of CD’s to have in reserve should the situation warrant
the hiring of a lobbyist.
- Holding raffles to promote the organization.
If you are not already a member of the Nebraska Gamebird and Hunting
Association, please consider becoming one. It
is well worth it!
