Swanson Hunting Acres is family owned & operated; the oldest and largest controlled shooting area since 1983. Located approximately seven miles west and south of Niobrara.

   Niobrara, population 420, is located in Northeast Nebraska where the Niobrara and the Missouri River meet at the head waters of Lewis and Clark Lake. The area is very scenic, thinly populated and a neutral wilderness retreat.

   Lodging and meal will be in the New Comfortable “Swanson Hunting Lodge” which we know you will thoroughly enjoy. The lodge is located on the 2300 acre of rolling hills, crop and rangeland, where you will be hunting pheasant, chucker and quail during your stay.

   We also hatch pheasant chicks which are for sale in May, June and part of July each year.
